Sam Knee has selected an old photo of mine for the cover of his new book "A Scene In Between: Fashion and Independent Music in the UK 1983-89".  The shot was taken outside the old Western Star Domino Club near St Pauls in Bristol, 15th May 1987. Loop were supporting The Wishing Stones that night and staying in my place after this show before heading out in a shitty van to another shitty venue. The band then was Robert, James, Bex and Glen (not in this image). Sam is using around a dozen images including some Feb 1985 Jesus and Mary Chain live snaps with an awful pocket camera plus some snaps of Endeacott and myself being stylish men about (small) town.
